free bicycle lending

  beCyCle offers you a free bike! Come to the workshop on either Wednesday or Saturday and simply pick one up. Bicycle lending is FREE, however you will need to leave a (fully refundable) deposit. See our release form for terms of loan [pdf].

  beCycle is a fully volunteer-run project and the bicycle you get was donated by people of the local community,  students or the Grampian Police. They are fixed and maintained by beCyCle and on this basis we expect you to take care of the bike yourself to keep the project cycling. There won’t always be a ready bike available (mostly though!), but you could volunteer to repair one yourself. Of course other volunteers are there to assist you where ever needed. We currently maintain about 250 bikes (and counting…).

if there’s anything wrong with the bike,
come to the workshop and we’ll help you fix it.
