Graeme Obree in Aberdeen
ACF is proud to present, for one night only,
THE FLYING SCOTSMAN
ACF proudly presents The Flying Scotsman (Germany/UK 2006, 102 min). The docu-drama of Graeme Obree, champion cyclist, who overcame personal adversity, ill health and obstructive officialdom in the cycling establishment, to emerge as one of, if not the, leading time-triallist of his day.
Graeme Obree will be present at the screening in person and will take part in a question and answer session after the film presentation.

German geeks build electric bike

Two German engineers have managed to develop (without any external technological help or financial support) an electric bike that looks like a mix between a motorcycle and a mountain bike. The so-called Elmoto is powered by a 2KW engine and boasts a driving range of up to 65km with a single battery charge (which costs around $1).
