Sand, Sea and Sunday ride
Leave from Becycle at 7am on Sunday morning (08 March).
Ride the 52km to Rattray head.
Hang out the beach, do bird watching, walk in the sand dunes, swim in the North Sea – whatever.
Half-way back stop for a big lunch at my friend’s house.
Get back to Aberdeen about 6pm.
Roads
I’ve identified a way that should be really quiet most of the way. Lots of very small roads through the countryside. All of them are hard surfaced/tarmaced.
To bring
Everyone brings their own snacks and water.
Bring breakfast.
Lights in case it gets dark on the way back.
Spare tube.
Binoculars, camera & beach stuff may be useful.
