keep the blog alive!
Haven’t posted in a while. So just a few lines to keep this blog alive.
In response to the last entry: WE DID WIN the EcoCity Award 2008 for “best community group”. HUREY! So things are going well. Activities: **We’ve got over 60 bikes out there by now. **We’re getting lights installed in the shed pretty soon I hope. **The workshop is busy every time we open. **We do need more volunteers and help in the workshop as well as administrative stuff (emails, website, supplies management etc.) so JOIN US IF YOU LIKE THE PROJECT. **We have some pics posted here: http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/becycle8 **what else… WE’LL POST MORE SOON. ESP. WHEN WE GET NEW BIKES IN FROM DA POLICE.

security info: KEEP your bike SAFE! Theft seems to be increasing around campus. Get good locks and always secure your bike to something. Even if it’s just for 5 minutes. (one of our bikes got stolen whithin 5 minutes of absence just recently!).
